Nda Emma,

With deep gratitude to God Almighty, I send warm felicitations to you on behalf of my family, for the conferment of Lifetime Achievement Award 2021 by the Sun Newspaper Publishing Limited.

One thing certain is that no one can gainsay your numerous accomplishments in life, which spanned almost all fields of human endeavour.

As a foremost civil engineer your company Hardel and Enic was a household name. With Champion Newspapers, you employed and informed the world. With Oriental Airlines, you made Sam Mbakwe International Cargo Airport functional and records have it that you contributed immensely to its completion. With Iwuanyanwu Nationale Football Club, you revolutionized the reward system for home-based footballers by making your players the Naze Millionaires.

Aha Eji Agamba! Your name alone rings like bell, attracts connection, favour and opens doors.

You invested so much in human development through Iwuanyanwu Scholarship Foundation without which many would not have obtained tertiary education.

To save lives you donated a blood bank at the Owerri General Hospital.

As Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Council of Elders, you have shown sound leadership and never floundered. You have been a strong voice for Igbos in Nigeria.

Dee Emma, you remain an incredible institution and your lifetime achievements cannot be captured in this short piece.

Your politics is one without bitterness. You always preach peace, love and unity, though a shrewd political strategist.

You are a living legend, rare genius, outstanding statesman, man of peace and candour, outspoken and fearless, great man and lover of his people. Odogwu! Indeed! The award you received is befitting.

May God continue to bless, protect and keep you in good health.

In a statement issued Monday through his official Twitter handle, Ekpa emphasized that only Monday’s sit-at-home was observed to demand the release of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), and to push for the delegitimization of Nigeria’s authority in the Biafran territory. At CHISCO TRANSPORT, every journey is safe  Ekpa made the clarification in response to circulating claims suggesting that a sit-at-home would also occur on Tuesday. He reiterated that no such directive has been issued for that day. He further noted that he would address Biafrans live on his platform to explain the decision. “Ekpa has cleared the air on the rumored sit-at-home, and he promised to go live on X Space to inform Biafrans that there is no sit-at-home tomorrow,” he said. Anthony Odiong, 55, faces two counts of second-degree sexual assault as well as one of first-degree sexual assault in the charges handed up against him recently in the McLennan county, Texas, state court. The charges against Odiong – who was first arrested in July – involve two women. He could receive up to life imprisonment if convicted of the first-degree charge, a stiffer penalty that stems from the fact that the alleged victim in the case was a woman whom Odiong was prohibited from “marrying or purporting to marry” under Texas law. The second-degree counts each carry up to 20 years in p
