In case you don't know, you committed cyber bullying, open harassment, social media defamation, character assassination, libel and more against the Governor and government of Imo State. Air Force/Staff Sgt. Roidan Carlson/Handout via REUTERS Discussion in the West about arming Ukraine with nuclear weapons is "absolutely irresponsible", Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday, in response to a report in the New York Times citing unidentified officials who suggested such a possibility. The New York Times reported last week that some unidentified Western officials had suggested U.S. President Joe Biden could give Ukraine nuclear weapons before he leaves office. "Several officials even suggested that Mr. Biden could return nuclear weapons to Ukraine that were taken from it after the fall of the Soviet Union. That would be an instant and enormous deterrent. But such a step would be complicated an...

While the deal has not yet been officially announced, it is believed that the 60-day cessation of hostilities aims to implement UN Security Council Resolution 1701, with the hope that it could form the basis of a lasting truce. Resolution 1701 was adopted to end a 34-day war between Israel and Lebanon in 2006, and had kept relative calm in the area for nearly two decades. That lasted until the day after Hamas’ October 7 attack on Israel last year, when Hezbollah attacked in solidarity, beginning more than a year of conflict. The resolution stipulated that Israel must withdraw all i...

Signs your partner loves you deeply, according to psychology

Image
By Tina Fey (The Blog Herald) There’s a world of difference between liking someone and truly loving them deeply. It’s these signs, often overlooked, that psychologists say are the most telling. They’re not always obvious, but when you know what to look for, you’ll see them clearly. 1) They’re tuned into your emotions Love isn’t just about butterflies in the stomach or stolen glances. It goes much deeper, especially when you’re talking about a partner who loves you profoundly. Psychologists have noticed that a significant sign of deep love is emotional attunement. In simple terms, it means your partner is in tune with your emotions. They notice when you’re happy, sad, angry, or stressed. They can sense your moods, even when you try to hide them. They don’t just acknowledge your feelings – they empathize with them, sharing in your joy or comforting you in times of distress. It’s not about grand gestures but the subtle ways they show their love. So if you find your partner consistent...

Bianca Ojukwu: Tinubu Likely To Free Nnamdi Kanu

Image
ByTheNigeriaLawyer Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu Ojukwu  Nigeria’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Bianca Odumegwu-Ojukwu, has expressed confidence that President Bola Tinubu will release the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Speaking during the 13th memorial anniversary of the late Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu in Owerri on Tuesday, Ambassador Ojukwu said she believes President Tinubu understands the importance of Kanu’s release. She argued that freeing Kanu would expose criminal elements who have used his detention as a cover to perpetrate heinous crimes in the Southeast. Delivering her remarks on the theme “Unifying the Igbo Race,” Bianca Ojukwu called for an end to the violence plaguing the Southeast, emphasizing that the Igbo people are not known for harming their own. She stressed the need for collective action to reclaim the region from criminality and insecurity. “The release of Nnamdi Kanu is paramount to se...

U.S. President-elect Donald Trump pledged Monday to quickly impose tariffs on China, Mexico and Canada – the country’s top three trade partners – raising the prospect of trade wars and higher prices for U.S. consumers. Trump used a series of posts on his Truth Social account to announce the moves, including saying on his first day in office he will “sign all necessary documents to charge Mexico and Canada a 25 percent tariff on ALL products coming into the United States, and its ridiculous Open Borders.” He said the tariffs would remain in place until “Drugs, in particular Fentanyl, and all Illegal Aliens stop this Invasion of our Country!” Trump said Mexico and Canada have the ability to “easily solve this long simmering problem.” He also complained about what he said was China’s role in “the massive amounts of drugs, in particular Fentanyl, being sent into the United ...
